sky walker asked:
I got my first hearing aids a few days ago (one for each ear )
Both hearing aids went dead after about two days but worked well when I put in new batteries. Will I have to replace the batteries that often?

Paul D asked:
My friends dad had a hearing aid which was programmed by connecting it to a PC, via USB, and the frequency response could be adjusted via a graphic equaliser. I haven’t seen the bloke in years but now my own dad wants one but I don’t know what make it was or where to get one. Does anyone know?
cheers

My husband just had his annual physical and they told him that his hearing was “no good”. I’ve known this for years. What are some of the top of the line hearing aids. We’re willing to spend whatever it takes as the hearing problem is bothersome for everyone.

Blueboofrog asked:
I had a hearing test at hospital following an acoustic neuroma surgery which left me with hearing in one ear. That ear is now losing upper speech patterns, and doctors recommending a hearing aid. At reputable hearing centers, hearing aids range from $800 to $3000,(for one) and some require a high consultation fee. The on line centers average around $365 which is a big difference when you have no insurance. Thanks.

my Mother has just had her analogue hearing aid replaced a digital one, the problem is there is no volume control on the new one and although we have a phone suitable for the hard of hearing she is having difficulty. Anybody out there know of any good phones or inline amplifiers to help with the problem. Any tips with the use of the digital aid at all as well please. Thanks.
