Z asked: I don’t hear very well out of my right ear, and I would love it if i could increase the volume of the right headphone so that I don’t have to turn it up to a volume that is damaging to my left ear to hear the song.. Is there any way to control the volume independently? Any hidden setting, or app?

Leah’s mom2 asked: what was the cause on your child and how did you deal with it? i’m not sure yet but my baby failed 2 hearing tests already and i’m concern.
She had 2 at the hospital and was refer and she the other one 10 days ago and didn’t pass now she’s having another one to confirm her hearing loss. I still have faith that she still had fluid in her ears can it be possible she was 1 month when she had the last one?

Jessica asked: He works on the cobras and hueys in aviation and his hearing has gotten even worse due to the loud noises. He wears his hearing protection but we tried to find out more online about this subject from the Marine side of things (they are different from the other branches on most subjects). If you were ever in or currently are in the Marine Corps please help me with this. Thanks!

My name is not bruce asked: I have to write a paper for a class, really short (500 words).
I was given a case study about a guy….basically stated that he started to experience hearing loss at around age 19 to 20…and he’s about 24 or 25 now .
He has no symptoms besides hearing loss
Anyways, one of the questions i have to address is…..give 2 possible reasons for his hearing loss.
1 reason i thought of was noise induced hearing loss.
Having trouble thinking of a second reason.
I ruled out a buildup of earwax or other ailments, because in 5 years, they would have been spotted and cleared up. Also the case study doesn’t mention previous sicknesses or anything. So i have to assume he didn’t have any sort of ear infection.
I thought of a few hereditary causes…ones that hit in the teens… but they all have symptoms that don’t fit the situation.
Any help would be great
Oh and i’m not saying it is NOT hereditary.
Just i couldn’t find a hereditary disease that fit the situation.

The Little Mermaid asked: I have a son whose was diagnosed with mild hearing loss in both ears. And while I’m grateful that it was only MILD hearing loss, I can’t help worrying about him still.
I have heard people with hearing loss and they tend to speak… a little unusual. I want to know if that is the way he will speak once he gets hearing aids and speech therapy.
Thanks.
