myesparta asked: I’ve been using a cell phone for four years now and I would say that over 99% of the time I keep the phone to my right ear. I just find it uncomfortable holding the phone with my left hand and it sounds different in my left ear for some reason.
Disregarding cell phone radiation, is this a bad thing that I don’t switch back and forth? Am I more at risk for hearing loss in my phone ear because I’ve never switched? Anyone else had experience with this problem?

Concern asked: My four year old son was recently diagnosed with a profound sensorineural hearing loss in one ear. The other ear had slight hearing loss but return a flat line. They told me he was not a candidate for cochlear implant or hearing device for the profound ear.
Does anyone have suggestion or an experience otherwise?
Thanks,

sarahsunshinecoast asked: Nearly 1 in 5 Americans own an iPod (or similar brand). They can be listened to at 100dB. This is loud enough to cause permanent hearing loss with regular use.

yp_tracy_minneapolis_48 asked: I was exposed to the sound of loud gunshots at a shooting range, and am now experiencing hearing loss and constant rinigng in my right ear. This occured last Saturday, and is showing no sign of getting better. Is this something I should get checked out and is it too soon to tell if it is permanent or not?
