Buzzing Noises with Temporary Hearing Loss?

ok so i have an ear infection and i have lost some hearing in my left ear, like to the point were i cant hear a whisper. Along with this annoying symptom, when it’s really quite i can hear buzzing noises in my ear and head. It almost sounds like a low static sound your tv would make… why is this? please help!

It might be related to the infection. If it doesn’t go away after the infection resolves, ask your doctor about it (I assume you’ve already seen a doctor about the ear infection). Techwing
