Can you be compenstaed for hearing loss due to combat?

I’ve heard both yes and no and haven’t been able to get a straight answer. If you have worked for VA or did an intern for the army anything would help. Thank you.

It has to be proven. So you need the results of a hearing test done prior to deployment and then a hearing test done after deployment.

I would say yes but it needs to be proved that, you in in fact lost it because of combat. Which would be very hard to do. They do not like to give out money so they will make it very hard for you prove it. Good luck. Don’t give up just because it might be difficult.
