what was the cause on your child and how did you deal with it? i’m not sure yet but my baby failed 2 hearing tests already and i’m concern.
She had 2 at the hospital and was refer and she the other one 10 days ago and didn’t pass now she’s having another one to confirm her hearing loss. I still have faith that she still had fluid in her ears can it be possible she was 1 month when she had the last one?

I have a 2 months baby boy.Today his hearing test done.Doctor said his left ear have 50 decibels and right ear has 55 decibels.His inner ear work properly.Pina and brain is also working.He have no fluid in his ear.So why the result is not ok?Is this ABR test result is always accurate or any other problem my baby?

Recently, my 14 months old baby was putting my handphone near his ear which was then playing loud music. i took it away from him only after few mins when I realise it. I am very worry that it will affect his hearing? It was quite loud even to an adult if putting it close to ear. I was not alert enough to take it away from him. Anyone can advise on this? Anyone know where can I do a hearing screening for toddler in Singapore?

My 5 year old daughter has been told she has hearing loss which will be permanent. They said it can often be genetic or could have been caused by past ear infections. I was wondering whether it could have possibly been caused by her having a fall when she was a baby or toddler?

He is 5 months old and this was present at birth, but today the doctor just said something about it. He has been to like three different docs and this guy is an ENT and he is the one that mentioned it. It is in the neck/head region. I just read it only affects 1% of the infants born in the US. I have suspected hearing problems since birth and he also failed his newborn hearing test. The right ear failed a hearing test but the left one didn’t. The Nevus is on the right side as well. This doctor also noticed that my son’s right eye is droopy (which I also noticed but no one will listen to me.) I guess my question is do you know if having a Nevus can contribute to hearing or seeing problems? Does anyone else have a similiar situation? Thank you!

how many tests need to be done before obtaining accurate results for diagnosing hearing loss? my baby had one at the hospital and was refer. and 2 weeks ago had her follow up but was refer again. shes 6 weeks old

i am planning on having a baby with my girlfriend after we get married..she has perfect hearing but i was born with hearing loss and im hard of hearing meaning i always wear hearing aids to help me hear..Does this mean our baby will also be hard of hearing or deaf?
