My grandma just go a hearing aid about 2 weeks ago. She has a Beltone hearing aid. She wears two. But when I talk to her she doesn’t even hear me if I don’t say something loud first. Also she thinks the backgroung noise is too loud, but she’s not sure. How loud should it be?
I know this is a hard question to answer, but I’d appreciate your input.

My wristwatch battery usually lasts over a year and the 10 year batteries in my home smoke alarms have made it over three years, so far. Is the very short life of hearing aid batteries because of planned obsolescence for greater sales?

What kind Hearing Aid brand are the best?

Okay, so my fiance is a morning person and I am not. He wakes me up too early in the morning because he absolutely HAS to listen to the radio or the morning show online that he likes! He has to keep it loud enough to listen to it in the shower, and I can hear it, even if he goes to the bathroom in the other end of the house. I’ve seen the hearing aid things advertised so your partner can watch tv w/out disturbing you, etc, but do they have something that he can use in the shower? Or some other solution to our problem? I mean, he’s not a jerk, he’s tried to be considerate and I want both of us to get what we want. Thanks!
