I have a factory defect, I hear less with an ear than with the other. I love music, love to listen to it, love to play it, but do you know how can I know the volume I’m listening will damage the ear later? or can you tell me some earphones or headphones that can reduce this problem, thanks

It was suggested I had GCA and PMR, however my age 53yr is not within the guidelines. Therefore all my aches and pains and extreme tiredness as well as the symptoms named above have been moved to Fibromyalgia. Does anyone with this condition also have head and eye problems, as Im not too sure the suggestion to radically reduce my steroids is my safest option.

hear aid
Joe King asked:

I have noise from next door that is driving me mad. Drum kit etc. Also the police helicopter detroying my sleep some nights. If I needed a deaf aid I would only switch it on when I needed to hear something. The rest of the time I could live in silence.
Moving is no good as what problem will I have at the new place. Does not solve the helicopter problem as well which often circles in the early hours of the morning.

My friends dad had a hearing aid which was programmed by connecting it to a PC, via USB, and the frequency response could be adjusted via a graphic equaliser. I haven’t seen the bloke in years but now my own dad wants one but I don’t know what make it was or where to get one. Does anyone know?
