gotaques asked: On Sunday, my three year old daughter was complaining of a ear pain (no fever). So we took her to the doctor and she was diagnosed with ear infection. The doctor prescribed antibiotic but said we could hold off on the antibiotic if she wasn’t complaining the next day. She does not have any fever and has been her usual playful self. Is it possible for a child to not have fever or complain about ear pain even with an infection? Should I be worried? Can it cause hearing problems in future?

jim b asked: I recently was at a gub range and had a poor ear protection gear. My left side ear is 82 percent, unable to hear.
Will it recovers by itself?

Linda asked:
thinking I had a sinus infection. The antibiotic made no difference in my nasal passages. The strange thing is I have significant hearing loss in one ear. I also fell off the deck but landed on my feet… Does anyone know why I would lose my hearing so suddenly? Could it be allergies?Could it be I have a sinus infection that has gone up in my ears — but the antibiotics didn’t work?
