what i mean is, since dispatchers work all day with their headsets to talk on the two-way radio do they get hearing loss from it?

    NOT SO MUCH FROM WEARING THE HEADSET AS FROM WRONG SIGNALS AND SOUNDS THAT COME INTO YOUR SET ACCIDENTALLY………YOU CAN BE FINE WEARING YOUR HEAD SET AND ALL OF A SUDDEN THESE SUPER LOUD TONES COME THROUGH YOUR HEADSET FROM A CROSSED FREQUENCY OR WRONG CHANNEL…YOU JUMP AND ARE ALMOST DEAF FOR AWHILE…OVER TIME IT DOES CAUSE PERMANENT DAMAGE….
