Here in the Uk it’s allowed but I’ve got a sneaky feeling you’re asking from the US aren’t you?

i am a nurse and my friend who is also a nurse has a stethescope that actually has a flashing light on it that flashes to the beat of a heart beat….she has hearing problems. I dont think anyone can discriminate. that is illegal. She has never had a problem.

Don’t let your hearing loss prevent you from doing whatever you want to do. You may need some additional assistance (as someone else mentioned a modified stethoscope) as long as you are willing to figure out what you need and most likely pay for it you can do anything.

This is a site of organization for people in medical field with hearing loss.
