		<description>glycoproteins are basically sugar molecules that attach to proteins in the body.  ogliosaccharides is the term i think.  anyway glycoproteins help signal the cells in the body basically to do their job and help the body to function.  people who could have a deffiency in these could suffer from a multiple of disorders or problems, one of them being hearing loss.  however this med hasnt officially been approved for this treatment, which is probably the reason in which you cannot find any research on it, and to some extent, i wouldnt believe everything i read on the web anyway.  there are places that sell them on the web, but i dont if i would go there, i would first before anything have her parents talk to her pediatrician.  i wouldnt even know if they would be safe for someone her age to take.</description>
