Maybe you have the sound up to loud when you listen to it. Doodle_Bug

Listening to loud music through headphones or at concerts etc can contribute to hearing loss. I only know this from what my audiologist told me last year when I had hearing tests and had my hearing loss diagnosed. Apart from leaving me with the hearing of someone 20 years older (I’m early 50s), any hearing loss that I may suffer through the natural ageing process will probably make me deafer than I might otherwise have been as I get older.

So please look after your ears and take care with your iPod, take from me hearing with hearing aids as I now have to try and do, isn’t like having the hearing I used to have, and lip reading isn’t easy. IAN
