Headphones that reduce hearing loss?

I was wondering what types of headphones will not cause hearing loss as much as other headphones. I don’t really blast my music at all but I just want to be safe.

In all honesty its not the type of headphones its the volume.
Earbuds (headphones that physically go into your ear) Are closer and more contained so a lower volume is perceived louder by your ear. Therefore they are MORE dangerous.
But any kind can damage, and at appropriate volumes any kind can be safe.
