		<description>You could have easily ruptured an eardrum.  Blunt force trauma like that can easily cause damage to the delicate inner ear.  I would see an ENT (Ear, Nose &#038; Throat specialist) as soon as possible.  In the meantime, take great care not to get any water in the affected ear.  Wear earplugs when you shower.  I ruptured an eardrum when I was on the diving team in college, and I got water into it....NOT A GOOD THING AT ALL.</description>
