lol. must have been an awesome concert. im sure it will come back.
    or maybe its permanent.
no telling until you go to the doc

    Okay.. two things first.
    1. if you still cant hear, that must have been one awesome concert.
    2. hearing loss is common after really loud concerts. it is more than likely you damaged your ear if you were extremely close to the speaker. I have a friend who used to be a lead guitarist who (20+ years after quitting the band) is still deaf in one ear. If you were closer to the back of the concert, I’d bet it is just temporary. I’m not a doctor so don’t rely on my answer alone.
Hope your ear isn’t messed up too bad!

Dude, don’t listen to the guys that say it must have been an awesome concert.

Wear earplugs next time. I don’t give a shit if they look tacky, fucking wear them because otherwise you’ll be deaf by the time you’re forty.

I didn’t wear plugs once, and my ears rang for a few days, but I don’t think a week. Best idea would be to get it checked out and to wear protection next time. (think of your ear as a penis - it’s better to wear a condom and lose a little bit of the experience than it is to not wear it and wake up with the disease there’s not cure for. Same concept.)
