I don’t remember the name of the groups, but the worst was this jam band show I saw at a club. We stood right up next to the speakers because it wasn’t crowded up there, and then I couldn’t hear the next day.

Last year I saw The Who, we were really close to the speakers (good balcony seats). They put the speakers really high up above the stage because Pete Townshend has already gone so deaf, so they were kind of right in our faces up there. ichdonthinkso

After seeing over 100 concerts of different types, the one group that sent me home with my ears bleeding was “Molly Hatchet”. Second runners up: Aerosmith with Ted Nugent warming up. Honorable mention: KISS with WASP warming up. It’s actually quite amazing that I can hear at all considering. fourstarchef2003

The memories last a lot longer than the ringing in my ears, trust me.

The most recent one I probably lost to was Modest Mouse. Julia
