Hearing aids have become much more discrete and are on the cutting edge of technology.
They have very small aids that sit behind your ear and a thin wire runs down and into your ears.
Bluetooth is available on many of the aids. You can sync it with your iPod and when your phone rings you hear the ring through the music. Than you push a button and the ipod stops playing and you’re now on the phone. Very cool stuff.
I think you’ll ne surprised about hearing aids now a days. They’re not your Grandmother’s hearing aid

I wouldn’t worry about it at all. Anyone who gives you trouble or acts weird doesn’t need to be around you. My favorite quote is “Those who mind, don’t matter, and those who matter, don’t mind”
