I am suffering from hearing loss since last 8 months due to side effect of streptomycin injection (taken for 2 months as per doctors advise). I hv been to ENT specialist but it doesn’t help me. I am using hearing aid, that too is not good assistance. I am desperate to get my hearing back at any cost. I am looking for some alternative which can restore my hearing. Help. Genuine answer only pls

So sorry to hear about this - it is a known side-effect, but I am sure that the medicines were needed for a very good reason.
The damage caused by the drug is a type of nerve damage, and sometimes it can be helped a great deal by the use of herbal medicines.
Do seek advice from an experienced practitioner - I would be very pleased to help if you have difficulty finding someone - don’t think I am here just to ’sell’ my services - I genuinely would like to help.
Some simple herbs to try could be Hypericum (St.John’s Wort), Matricaria (Chamomile) and there are others also. Some nutritional support may be indicated also.
Do seek advice from someone sooner rather than later, as it is easier to treat these sort of things earlier. Good luck and let me know how you get on. arwel
