		<description>Well, yes and no.  If you have nerve damage effecting the quality of hearing in your right ear -- yet you still hear *some* level of accoustics/noise then it is still achieving a jump across the synpase(s).  It isn't complete in other words.. 

So, anything you can do to clear up the incoming sounds (ie: regulating pressure, cleaning out ear wax, taking your finger out of your ear :) ) -- will still have an effect on your hearing.

It might be very minute, not even worth it.. but it should be fairly easy to test.</description>
