in-ear headphones leave a ringing sensation long after the music stops. do they inflict long-term hearing loss?
SS asked:
i use philips she9850. they are good, but i get a numbness in my ears long after i have stopped listening. please note i usually listen to audio books and NOT MUSIC, so there is no blaring sound. are the in-ear phones still harmful for me over the long-term?

yes you possibly could but i doubt it its probably from the way the ear phones rest on your ears thats why it hurts when you take them off Tanner

Try these earphones
ep630 by Creative
noise cancelling, in-ear headphones.
I use them and never had a problem with them even in long term use
They price is high but its worth it
you can probably get it cheap on ebay
good luck! John Preston
