Is loss of hearing considered a disability in the UK?
And does anyone know what percentage it must be to be considered a disability?

The DDA definition of disability is “a physical or mental impairment which has a substantial and long term adverse effect on [the person's] ability to carry out normal day to day activities”.
In the case of deafness I would think this would apply to people considered severely or profoundly deaf. Severe hearing loss is considered anything worse than around 70dB (with profound being 90dB) so I’d say that’d be the point where it would be considered a disability.
