		<description>All potential recruits will have an initial hearing test at MEPS.  Some MEPS facilities are more stringent than others.  The recruiter should have info on which will be lenient on incoming personnel.  They will work extensively with you to insure that it is not a problem, unless you are legally deaf.  I was in the same predicament.  Tubes in my ears at age 7.  While I lived in Marshall County, MS, my recruiter drove me to Little Rock, AK, when the nearest MEPS was in Memphis, TN.
