Matthew M asked:
Apparently l woke up on the left side of my body, thus explaining the loss in my left ear. Please help.. l am a musician and my sense of hearing is one of my most important senses.

You might have a blocked ear. Try pinching your nose and blow gently. Till you hear a pop. Are you hearing any ringing? It may be a sign that you may be deaf. Did you listen with the music very loud? I hopeyour okay. Otherwise, get your doctor. good luck |*computernerd*|

I’m no doctor but you shouldn’t sleep with them in….you might have put pressure on the plug and jammed it in your ear drum as you were sleeping, possibly scratching it. Don’t take a chance with you’re hearing….if it doesn’t get better soon, you should definitely see a doctor. Hope you feel better soon. Rob_187

You probably forced wax further into your hear, partially blocking the ear canal. If it doesn’t resolve on its own, you can try flushing your ears with warm water (some pharmacies sell little rubber squeeze bulbs for this purpose), or you can go to the doctor and have him clean out the ear canal. Don’t try to ream it out with cotton swaps, as you might accidentally damage your eardrum, or you might scratch the ear canal and cause a lot of pain and/or infection. Techwing
