Saw a EN&T doctor for hearing loss due to fluid in my ear that comes and goes?

This started 4 yrs ago and each time my ears fill with fluid my hearing is greatly impaired. My eye sight started to go about same time and now 4 yrs later I cannot see without glasses. Now head aches and vomiting. Doc says he sees no fluid and cannot see a cause for my hearing loss. I am 45 yrs and looking at hearing aid for left ear. He ordered a MRI, Why?

most adults start losing some level of vision around age 40 due to the cornea getting thicker- thats normal
you might have allergies which can cause increased fluid behind the eardrum ( causing hearing issues)
he ordered a MRI to rule out any growth, abnormalities Mopar Muscle Gal
