seeking compensation for hearing loss caused by airbag deploy - where are the attorneys ?

hearing loss
Stan S asked:

I’m trying to find an attorney in the SoCal area with experience in dealing with hearing loss (inner ear damage) caused by airbag deployment. The referral services in my area (Inland Empire) are of not much help. Any ideas ?

You’re joking, right? You’d rather have a bashed in face???

Um…. if the airbag hadn’t deployed, what would have happened to you? The accident caused the hearing loss — which could have cost you your life instead of your hearing…

You should be seeking advice from your various insurance policies, not attorneys.
    Health insurance…medical insurance….auto insurance… life & disability insurance….supplemental insurance (ie, Aflac)
Airbag deployment saves lives. Car accidents cause airbag deployment.
Your hearing loss is due to a car accident.
That is why you have insurance. Insurance companies are the ones that fight one another to determine who pays what. Start filing claimes & let them figure out what they’ll pay.

Its kind of sad that you are actually trying to get money for something that potentially saved your life. Unless it was an accidental airbag deployment, thats a different story. However, having your airbag deployed usually means you’re in a pretty serious car accident, something that probably saved your life, or at least did not cause any mutiliation of sorts. I’m also puzzled as to how would the airbag itself cause hearing loss, it was probably because of the accident itself. If you are trying to seek compensation, go through insurance companies, that’s what they are there for.
