Anonymous asked: I have a hearing problem in my right ear. I can hear a little bit through it but can hear perfectly fine in my left ear . Is it possible to get a waiver for my ear problem? Aren’t there some jobs which require perfect hearing? Hearing aids do not help me so that’s not an option. When I took hearing tests in school i’ve failed them. would I :still be able to join a branch?

The Little Mermaid asked: I have a son whose was diagnosed with mild hearing loss in both ears. And while I’m grateful that it was only MILD hearing loss, I can’t help worrying about him still.
I have heard people with hearing loss and they tend to speak… a little unusual. I want to know if that is the way he will speak once he gets hearing aids and speech therapy.

Her teacher was surprised she had hearing loss. I keep worrying about her hearing loss possibly getting wose.
