My ex-father in law never wanted to wear his, so anytime we all went out to eat anywhere, he always looked to his wife to repeat everthing the waitress said. He spent several hundred dollars on the one he had. Is it true that if there is a lot of background noise, they do not work? What makes a hearing aid make a high pitch sound?

Are there college scolarships availablefor 504 plan recipients or unilateral hearing loss individuals?

My daughter has no hearing in one ear. She used to be on a 504 plan, but somehow it has been removed. Now that she is getting? closer to college, I’m wondering if I should get her 504 back in place? She gets good grades and has recently gotten a baha implant. the 504 accomodations she is after are merely seating assignments and the use of mp3 to drown out the irritating background noise during work time.
