With her head in the clouds asked: I’ve heard that OI can cause a certain amount of hearing loss through childhood up to the early 20s. How does this happen if it’s a disease that causes bones to break easily?

asked: I am REALLY white (not albino, but my skin is almost as white, I’m not kidding you) and I have blue eyes, and I am having hearing loss at 14 years old. I heard that in animals like cats that if they are white with blue eyes, their chances of being deaf skyrocket. So, I want to know: Does this apply to humans too? What about albino people? Is there chances of being deaf increased, too?

Ebb asked: I think I have hearing loss, my ear feels like something is inside of it and it’s so annoying, and I turn my music and TV too loud because I can’t hear it well, and I have trouble hearing things my friends say to me. Is there any solution to everything?
Plus, I don’t think I’m able to see a doctor anytime soon…
