mesmart12345 asked: I went to the dentist and they took an x-ray. The X-ray shows that my upper wisdom teeth and two molars(which haven’t grown in yet) are practically right next to my ears. Could this be causing a hearing problem?

Chelsums asked: Once when I was a freshman in high school I went to my ear doctor and had a hearing test because I was having trouble hearing in class.
I also explained that at times it felt as if I couldn’t remember English and people were just garbling. He said my hearing was perfect but that I might have “____ hearing” where I have trouble understanding the first few times.
What is this called??

syn2cool2fool asked: I am not completely deaf but according to my audiology test, I
have problems hearing high pitch sounds! Would this affect me in
the future if I was going to be a pilot? I’m kind of worried.. It would be great to get an answer from someone who knows the restrictions to be an ATP pilot.

J&K’s mom asked: I know my dog CAN hear, but I wonder if she has a hearing problem. When there are sirens nearby you can hear all the dogs in the neighborhood howling because of it hurting their ears. However, it doesn’t seem to bother my dog. She purposely goes out on the deck to see where the noise is coming from. Just find it odd that she’s not bothered like other dogs.

Anonymous asked: I am interested in joining the military but have a hearing problem in my right ear. When I take any hearing tests I always fail them. But is it possibly to still be able to join with certain jobs that dont require perfect hearing?
I really want to join but if its not possible I dont know what to do.

computerdragon_stl asked: My mother-in-law has a hearing problem, everybody who knows her says so. She says she doesn’t and everybody else is “mumbling”. What is the best way to convince her to go to the ear doctor to get a professional opinion? Again she doesn’t feel the need to go because everybody else mumbles.

devries992002 asked:
My husband just had his annual physical and they told him that his hearing was “no good”. I’ve known this for years. What are some of the top of the line hearing aids. We’re willing to spend whatever it takes as the hearing problem is bothersome for everyone.
