On Sunday, my three year old daughter was complaining of a ear pain (no fever). So we took her to the doctor and she was diagnosed with ear infection. The doctor prescribed antibiotic but said we could hold off on the antibiotic if she wasn’t complaining the next day. She does not have any fever and has been her usual playful self. Is it possible for a child to not have fever or complain about ear pain even with an infection? Should I be worried? Can it cause hearing problems in future?

which do you think is a greater disabilty the loss of sight or the loss of hearing?

What serve problems does the loss of either faculty create? How could someone who has lost both senses learn about the world and become a literate adult?

I worked on the flight line in the military and suffered hearing problems after discharge. Time in service was 1961 to 1965 and the protection they issued was not adequate. Anyone else have that same problem?
