I’m 29 with sensorineural hearing loss in only my left ear. My ENT ordered a CT and was able to rule out any inner ear deformities and couldn’t give me an answer as to a cause. I just don’t believe that there is no reason, there has to be a cause right? He only says that the only way they could determine a cause is if I were dead and they did an autopsy. What can I do next?

I have had ringing in my right ear and it feels plugged all the time with slight hearing loss. What is wrong?

I went to my ENT a few weeks ago, and he gave me a hearing test and I was above average for both ears. He said it didnt look like anything was wrong with my inner ear. He cleaned out the wax in my ears, but its still the same.

I’m hella paranoid about my hearing. My audiologist says it’s fine, but I want to join the Marines and yeah. I looked at the requirements and all, and my test says I’m in the normal range, but can you still have inner ear damage if you don’t have hearing loss? I heard that military tests your hearing to make sure you can hear and to see if you have inner ear damage because it will mess up your balance.
