It seems like a lot of people have vision loss and need glasses but I don’t see that many people with hearing loss.
How come vision loss is a lot more common?

the samsung x495 that is supposedly hearing aid compatible has a lot of static. I would prefer a cell phone that would allow me to use my tele coil.

My son is 5 and has had a lot of ear infections but never tubes. Recently he has been having a hard time hearing. I asked his doctor about this and she made him an appointment with an audiologist. What exactly does an audiologist do? Tubes? Any information on this will be appreciated.

mragizzarelli asked: How many decibels are considered slight reduction?
I have slight reduction in one ear, I can only notice if I have head phones in, not a big deal for me. How many decibels do you think I lost in it? I want to join the marines, my recruiter said it shouldnt be a big deal but I’m still wondering.

I listen with my earphone a lot, but it’s not loud, only about 1/4 the entire volume, I’m afraid I’ll have permanent hearing loss, is that loud enough to cause me hearing loss?
