I’m 15 and have NIHL (noise induced hearing loss) in one ear, so I’m going to stop listening to loud music. If I do this, obviously it will prevent me from losing my hearing more, but for the longer I do it, will it make my hearing better?
Rephrased - if I stop listening to loud music will my hearing gradually improve or is it stuck like this forever?

how exactly is NIHL (noise induced hearing loss) caused including how it effects the insides of the ear?
