My head starts throbbing everytime I lay on my stomach. I feel a throbbing sensation in my head and I start to feel a slight loss in my hearing. Everything starts sounding really far away. am I okay?

Already saw a doctor, and he dismissed it as air locked or something in my chest that he says is normal. Thing is it comes and goes regularly. I get a sharp pain in the right side of my chest (somewhat like a stabbing sensation) followed by the sound of white noise in my right. Anyone have any ideas?

Should I be concerned about hearing loss?

Recently while welding, some slag popped and landed in my ear. This is a commom risk while welding, to be burned by hot slag in most any area imagineable. This time however the slag seemed to go deeper into my ear than norm. Since then I have had a ringing in my ear and a sensation of stoppage like as in a change of atmosphere or altitude. My hearing doesn’t seem affected, but the stoppage and ringing at times is very annoying. Is this something to worry about or will it go away as all welding burns do?
