I just read that 1 out of 5 teenagers already suffer from hearing loss due to listening to loud music! Not sure if this is what you are looking for, but here are some websites for a start. Some general sites: Some websites about research on this topic: It looks as if hearing loss if pretty much permanent; but recent research might find clues to a cure.
