		<description>From what you describe it sounds as though your Audiologist or hearing-aid dispenser is greatly at fault, and you have not been given the correct familiarization procedure to adjust the volume of your aid, - or possibly even the correct mode of operation, if it's a digital, 'selective' mode device.
Your doctor should have checked this. 

The other way of handling your hearing-loss is to get glasses (spectacles) with the hearing-aid device embedded in the legs, and which go behind your ears, transmitting sound of a much purer quality, through the bones. I have these, and they're a blessing, compared with the old 'in-the-ear' ones. I can thoroughly recommend them from personal use</description>
